Hoard — Privacy Policy

Hoard is private internal accounting software operated by Bike4Mind, Inc. Its access to QuickBooks Online is strictly read-only. Your accounting data is never sold, never shared, and never used to train any model. It stays in our own AWS account, and you can disconnect and delete it at any time.
What Hoard Is
Private, Internal Software
Hoard is private internal accounting software operated by Bike4Mind, Inc. for its own entities and those of its owner. It is not offered to the public, it is not sold, and it has no third-party users.
A Separate Application
Hoard is a distinct application from the Bike4Mind product. This policy governs Hoard only. It supersedes the general Bike4Mind privacy policy with respect to any data Hoard accesses.
Purpose
Hoard exists to prepare the books and tax filings of the connecting entity. That is its only purpose, and no data it holds is used for anything else.
What Hoard Accesses
QuickBooks Online
With your explicit authorization, Hoard reads your chart of accounts, vendors, invoices, and purchases from QuickBooks Online using the com.intuit.quickbooks.accounting scope. It requests no other scopes.
Read-Only. Always.
Hoard is strictly read-only. It never writes to, modifies, creates, or deletes anything in QuickBooks. It has no write scope and no code path that could perform a write.
Nothing Else
Hoard does not access your bank credentials, your Intuit password, your payroll records, or any Intuit service other than the accounting data listed above.
Where Your Data Lives
Your Own Infrastructure
Data is stored in Bike4Mind's own AWS account (Amazon RDS, us-east-2), inside a private network. It is not copied to any other system, vendor, or service.
Encrypted
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. OAuth tokens are stored encrypted and are never exposed to the browser or to any log.
Who Can See It
Only the account owner and users they explicitly authorize, through authenticated sign-in. There is no support team, no analytics vendor, and no third party with access.
What Hoard Does NOT Do
Never Sold
We do not sell your QuickBooks data. There is no buyer, no broker, and no circumstance in which it would be sold.
Never Shared
We do not share, transfer, or disclose your QuickBooks data to any third party, for any purpose, except where compelled by law.
Never Used to Train Models
Your QuickBooks data is NEVER used to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any machine-learning model. It is not used for advertising, marketing, benchmarking, or product analytics of any kind.
Your Control
Disconnect Any Time
You can disconnect QuickBooks at any time from the Integrations page. Disconnecting immediately revokes Hoard's access and refresh tokens with Intuit.
Deletion
To have stored QuickBooks data deleted, email legal@bike4mind.com. It will be deleted promptly and permanently, along with any tokens held.
Retention
Data is retained only while the connection is active and while it is needed to prepare the connecting entity's accounts and filings. It is not retained for any other reason.
