Manifold
A desktop board where each column is a stage in an agent pipeline.
Dev tools
What it is
Manifold is a kanban board that does the work. Each column carries its own prompt, and a ticket entering a column starts a fresh agent session in your project's directory, in its own git worktree, so parallel tickets cannot collide. Stages run on the Claude Code CLI, opencode or the OpenAI Codex CLI.
The agent works a stage and stops. It can ask you a question or send a ticket back, but it never advances itself past a gated column and never merges to main. A Dashboard shows the tickets waiting on a person across every project.
Where Bike4Mind fits
Manifold is built and published by Bike4Mind, and it does not run through the Bike4Mind API. It is local-first, with no telemetry: each stage sends its prompt to whichever model provider that stage's engine uses. It is pre-release, with no signed downloads yet, so today you build it from source.
Latest updates
- FeatureCompanion View terminal is closed by default
The Manifold Companion View terminal is now a toggle that starts closed, so opening a companion no longer starts a CLI process in the background.
- FeatureNo pane limit in the Manifold footer
The Manifold footer terminal panel no longer caps how many instances a project can run, and its instance nav scrolls.
- FeatureManifold console can retry a stuck stage
A Manifold project console can now relaunch a stage stuck in error, action required or idle through a new project_retry_stage tool.
- FixNew companions show in the drawer at once
A newly created Manifold companion now appears in the Companions drawer immediately instead of staying hidden after the drawer is reopened.
- FeatureManifold Dashboard page
Manifold adds a Dashboard page, the topmost control in the project rail, with a cross-project view of ticket status, tickets waiting on a human and running stages.
